On November 24, 2025, the international conference room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kinshasa hosted the opening of a strategic workshop devoted to the Congolese diaspora.
Three areas of work
According to the ministry responsible for Francophonie and the Congolese diaspora, the work focused in part on operationalizing the Directorate General for Congolese Abroad, proposals related to nationality and the establishment of the High Council of the Diaspora.
